2011 marks the debut of TornadoAlleyLive.com as the Internet's first LIVE immersive, interactive storm-chasing experience. TornadoAlleyLive features dozens of storm chasers live-streaming their chases on an interactive map. Users can click on a car on the map to watch a chaser's live stream, and they can watch multiple chasers at the same time via popup windows.
TornadoAlleyLive.com allows users to connect with each other via a live comment stream and Twitter. Users can also search through 60 years of tornado records to find where tornadoes have struck most often, with Fujita-scale intensity ratings, fatality/injury counts and damage estimates.
TornadoAlleyLive.com is a project of Scripps Media, Inc., in partnership with its owned local television stations in 9 markets across the U.S.
